Gain a deeper understanding of dance movements and your self through Free Soul Workshops. Think of them as crash courses where you learn everything you need to know for more advanced classes or routines later on.
foundation contemporary workshop
Free Soul offers beginners the opportunity to jump in and join the party! Our Contemporary Workshop starts off with the basic, foundational movements drawing inspiration from dance schools such as jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and modern. As you start to learn and master the basic moves, we’ll guide you further along your path of confidence-building and self-discovery with a four-week workshop. Stay fit, have fun and grow together.
Skill Level: New Soul
stretch & flexibility workshop
Decrease stress and anxiety and increase flexibility. This Workshop begins with basic body alignment, balance, core engagement and weight distribution movement techniques and gradually evolves into full dynamic stretching. Each class concludes with a relaxing and meditative floor stretch in a soothing, free-spirited environment.
This class series is created to increase the velocity of progress in your fitness and movement goals in yoga, dance fitness, kickboxing, other Free Soul dance classes and more. This is also a great way to reduce joint pain, rehab a nagging injury and improve your overall inner atmosphere. We recommend you bring a mat or blanket and wear layers. The extra warmth can be helpful during stretching.

- Classes are held once a week (1.5 hours long) for four weeks.

sass your dance workshop
Want to spice it up a bit? Free Soul breaks down the basics of Burlesque and the art of moving your body with sexy confidence. You’ll be supported throughout the entire process in a relaxed environment as you get reacquainted with your inner sexy.
Be free and keep this in mind:
- Sass Your Dance includes warmups, basic breakdowns, fitness elements and detailed movement instruction.
- Anyone can participate and have fun, plus it’s a workout.
- Participants will learn fun, sexy, original choreography during this four-week session. The last two weeks sometimes include a heels combo, so bring your tallest, sexiest heels or—if you dare—stilettos!
